About Mizoram State AIDS Control Society (MSACS)

Mizoram State AIDS Control Society (MSACS) is an autonomous body functioning under the National AIDS Control Organization (NACO), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. Established with the mission of preventing the spread of HIV and ensuring access to care, support, and treatment for people living with HIV (PLHIV), MSACS plays a critical role in the state's public health landscape.
Our key activities include:
Raising awareness through targeted campaigns and outreach programs
Providing counseling and HIV testing services
Ensuring free access to Anti-Retroviral Therapy (ART)
Promoting safe practices, including condom use and harm reduction
Supporting marginalized and high-risk populations
MSACS collaborates with government agencies, NGOs, and community-based organizations to implement innovative strategies that reduce stigma and discrimination, improve quality of life, and empower communities in Mizoram.
